Our Story
Crafting a Legacy: The genesis of STUDIO
Studio’s woodworking origins trace back to 1954 with the founding of Bell Cabinetry in East Texas. It is here, where the mastery of craftsmanship embodied by our grandfather, Bill G. Bell, set the roots of our heritage. The meticulous care he put into small-town carpentry and cabinetry 70 years ago is the enduring standard we hold ourselves to today.
Beginning of a new chapter in Alpharetta, Ga
Our relocation to Alpharetta, GA in 1987 marked a significant shift in our reach and offering, made possible by the firm foundation set by Billy W. Bell. It was he that created the lasting legacy of hard work and determination built into the Bell Cabinetry name.
New horizons: The transition to a superior factory.
An essential milestone in our history, Bell Cabinetry & Design expanded operations in 2007, moving into a significantly larger factory with enhanced modernized technology. This move amplified our manufacturing capabilities and ensured we could meet the growing demand for quality cabinetry.
STUDIO’s inception: Born from the needs of builders
Conceived amidst the development of Avalon, the sprawling 86-acre mixed-use space in Alpharetta, Georgia, STUDIO was conceived to cater specifically to builders. Filling a gap in the Bell Cabinetry & Design offering, the emergence of STUDIO streamlined the selections of popular cabinetry products, prioritizing shorter lead times, masterful designs and unparalleled service.

Fast forward to the present moment, where STUDIO proudly houses one of the largest cabinetry factories in the southeast. We’re proud to call Georgia home for 37 years and counting, and just as proud to represent the 3rd generation of craftsmen protecting the legacy Billy G. Bell founded 70 years ago.
